The dab-off sealant DEKASEAL 8936 offers impressively high seal performance, UV resistance and elasticity, as it does not harden and does not remain permanently sticky. Excess amounts can be dabbed off easily, leaving no residues.

Permanently elastic, viscous butyl compound for sealing caravans and motorhomes. Excess material can be removed later without leaving any residue. Remains flexible and tight for years. Used by manufacturers at first assembly of companies such as Hobby, Fendt, Carado, KiP, Hymer, Knaus, LMC, , SunLight, Laika, Dethleffs, Possl, Burstner, Carthago.

Features:

• Very low water permeability, best in class (0.1-0.2 grams/day/m²),
• Unrivalled in ease of removal of excess ("dab-away" properties), will find use wherever aesthetic sealing is needed.
• Very good resistance to UV, ageing; long-lasting durability
• Very good adhesion to many substrates without pretreatment. On most substrates it is sufficient to clean and degrease the surfaces.

• Water inlets, air vents
• Service doors, toilet doors, luggage hatches, manoeuvring handles
• Side windows, roof windows
• Butyl sealants are used wherever a flexible connection is needed.
