DEKASYL MS-5 is a structural sealant with a strong adhesive effect and high handling resistance for bonding brackets, covers and structurally critical components. Its high strength allows for short fixing times and almost completely eliminates the need for tightening.
DEKAsyl MS-5 is based on MS polymer and can be easily applied with a hand or compressed air gun.
For sealing, Dekasyl MS-5 should be applied within 12 minutes with a spatula previously dipped in a neutral soap solution, the surface can then be further processed or sanded.
A 2 mm adhesive layer is recommended if the materials to be bonded are similar, if the difference between the products is large the adhesive layer should be thicker.
After 4 hours Dekasyl MS-5 can be repainted.
