AGM Battery Dual Purpose

For recreational application with moderate power requirements, the Varta® Professional Dual Purpose AGM is ideal since it can be used to start the engine and to provide power for any additional equipment and onboard electronics. It is also ideal for seasonal operation – when you take your boat or caravan out of winter storage, the battery simply comes along without needing to be recharged.

We would like to point out the procedure for taking back used batteries: According to the "Ordinance on the Return and Disposal of Used Batteries"

• rechargeable batteries and batteries must never be disposed of with normal residual waste.
• Batteries containing hazardous substances must be returned to a distributor or to take-back centres set up for this purpose by the public waste disposal authorities.
