This section includes simple 12V USB outlets, dual-port versions and higher-output chargers such as 3A, 4A or 2x2.5A units. For built-in installation, panel-mounted designs work well and can be matched with other items from charging & energy conversion. If the power comes from an auxiliary battery or the onboard system, USB outlets are often used together with DC-DC chargers, 230V AC chargers and MPPT and PWM solar charge controllers.
