Dometic PerfectView CAM 35 2.0 FS far-view module - 90°, IP69K, upgrade for REAR console, for motorhomes

Dometic PerfectView CAM 35 2.0 FS (catalogue number 9620012440, EAN 7315091513777) is a far-view camera module that upgrades a CAM 35 2.0 REAR console. REAR alone gives the close view; FS adds the far view (product page: approx. 90° diagonal). Class IP69K, supply 12 V. The pack contains a single camera module and a short guide - no system cable and no console. After fitting, the REAR console works like a TWIN: close view in reverse, far view when driving forward.

What it is for

FS upgrades an already fitted or planned CAM 35 2.0 REAR console in the third brake-light position of Fiat Ducato X250/X290 (and Jumper/Boxer).

After you fit the far module and connect the 6-pin far-view cable from the manual, the console shows far view when driving forward and close view in reverse.

It is not a ball camera for any rear wall and not a kit with a 15 m cable. If you want both views in one pack from the start, choose CAM 35 2.0 TWIN.

Installation notes

1. Work on the CAM 35 2.0 REAR console as described in the Dometic CAM35-2.0 manual.
2. Seat the far module in the prepared console socket and connect the 6-pin far-view cable.
3. Check the seal and lens position before final tightening.
4. Set AHD or CVBS to match the monitor.
5. After fitting, check far and close images and the brake light.

• One CAM 35 2.0 FS far-view camera module.
• Short instructions.
• No console, no 15 m system cable and no NAV adapter - those come with REAR or TWIN.

FS, REAR and TWIN

REAR is the console with close view only. You add FS later when you want far view. TWIN includes both modules from the start. FS does not replace a stand-alone ball camera such as CAM 440 or CAM44.

Safe use

• A video system only assists the driver. It does not replace mirror checks.
• Series operating temperature in the manual: -40 to +85°C (FS product page: -40 to +80°C).
• IP69K still requires correct seating of the module in the console.
• Approvals and traffic rules still apply to the whole reversing system.

Care

Wipe the lens with a soft, damp cloth without aggressive solvents. Keep connectors dry. After washing the motorhome, check that the module is still seated in the console.
