Dometic PerfectView CAM 35 2.0 TWIN (catalogue number 9620017521) is a brake-light console camera designed for Fiat Ducato X250 and X290 and the related Citroën Jumper and Peugeot Boxer. What it is for
TWIN watches the zone right behind the vehicle in reverse and gives a far view when driving forward. The console takes the place of the third brake-light housing while the original lamp still works.
It is meant for Ducato X250/X290 and sister Jumper/Boxer vans. It is not a universal ball camera for any rear wall.
The image travels on the 15 m cable to a monitor. The 2-in-1 adapter simplifies connection to PerfectView monitors and many third-party video inputs; match connectors using both manuals.
Installation notes
- Remove the original third brake-light housing as described for the vehicle and in the Dometic manual.
- Pass the brake-light plug through the camera console and reconnect the lamp.
- Route the 15 m system cable to the cab, clear of hot and moving parts.
- Connect the CAM Y-adapter and the NAV/universal adapter as shown. Set AHD or CVBS.
- After fitting, check the brake light, close and far images and the seal.

TWIN versus REAR and FS
TWIN includes both close and far modules. CAM 35 2.0 REAR is the console with close view only; you add far view later with CAM 35 2.0 FS. If you do not need far view, REAR is enough. For body styles other than Ducato X250/X290, consider ball cameras such as CAM 440 or CAM44.
Safe use
- A rear-view system only assists the driver. It does not replace mirror checks.
- Operating temperature in the manual: -40 to +85°C (the product page also lists -40 to +80°C).
- IP69K still requires correct sealing of the console.
- ECE R10 approval covers the device; traffic rules still apply.
- After fitting, confirm that the third brake light works as required.
Care
Wipe the lenses and console with a soft, damp cloth without aggressive solvents. Keep connectors dry. After washing, check the console seal and the brake light.
