Equipped with a mounting frame made of corrosion-protected steel (Single Steps) or aluminium (Double Steps), the step treads and side plates are made of anodised aluminium, the edges and angles are rounded. The end caps are made of black plastic. The step treads feature anti-slip step treads, which can effortlessly be replaced in older versions. With the electrical versions, the motor and gear wheels are housed in a box made of shock-proof plastic.Thule Step electric 12 VStep is operated with a switch, the extension and retraction is done by a 12V motor.
