The Fiamma F80s is a cassette awning mounted on the roof of a motorhome, van or caravan. This version is 320 cm long, with a white Polar White aluminium case and Royal Grey fabric. Wound out with the crank, it gives a 250 cm extension and 7.7 m2 of shade by the entrance door. The case cross-section is 20% smaller than on the previous F65 model, so the awning sits closer to the roof and creates less drag while driving.

Design

Fitting and brackets
The awning is supplied without mounting brackets. Fiamma offers kits made for specific vehicle models, for example the Fiat Ducato, so check which kit fits your vehicle before ordering. At 320 cm the Rafter tension rod is not included, but you can buy it separately. Roof mounting needs two people, as the awning alone weighs 29 kg.

Things to keep in mind
- Buy the roof mounting brackets separately to match your vehicle model.
- In strong wind and rain, wind the awning in or secure it with storm straps and set one side lower so water runs off.
- Do not leave wet fabric rolled up for long. Wind it out and let it dry at the first opportunity.
- Before driving, check that the awning is fully closed and the crank is stowed.
