How to check for leaks
- with the cylinder valve open, spray the joint, regulator or valve
- bubbles or foam show the leak point
- if there is a leak, close the cylinder valve and have it repaired by a gas engineer
- wipe the joint dry after testing
- never look for a leak with a flame
