Gel Battery Powerboozt

Powerboozt GEL is a VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) battery made of calcium flat plates in special alloy with a GEL electrolyte. The casing is made of reinforced PP material. This battery is a reliable and maintenance-free all-rounder.

Advantages:

• Immobilised electrolyte thanks to GEL (protects against electrolyte layering and leaking)
• Less than 2 % self-discharge rate per month, i.e. less trouble with transport and storage
• No corrosive exhaust gases (suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industry)
• Robust design, vibration-resistant
• Charging voltage: 14.3 – 14.5 V
• Trickle charging: 13.4 – 13.7 V
• Max. charging current: 30 % of the C20 (e.g. 30 A at 100 Ah C20)
• 700 cycles according to IEC/EN 60254-1

We would like to point out the procedure for taking back used batteries: According to the "Ordinance on the Return and Disposal of Used Batteries"

• rechargeable batteries and batteries must never be disposed of with normal residual waste.
• Batteries containing hazardous substances must be returned to a distributor or to take-back centres set up for this purpose by the public waste disposal authorities.
