- Livello kit with level sender and 9 LED indicator for 4-hole underslung LPG tanks. It shows the gas level in the cab or living area, so you do not have to look under the vehicle.
The Livello kit lets you check the gas level of an underslung LPG tank without getting under your motorhome, caravan or food truck. The sender replaces the gauge dial on the tank, and the 9 LED indicator goes in the cab or living area. Press the button and the LEDs show the level from empty (E) to full (F). The kit fits 4-hole tanks whose level gauge works with a float and magnet.

How it works
Inside the tank a float turns a disc with a magnet. The magnetic field passes through the brass valve body, so the sender reads the float position from outside and has no contact with the gas.
The sender changes its resistance with the level, and the indicator reads this value and lights the matching number of LEDs. The indicator draws power only when it is switched on.
Which tanks it fits
The kit is made for 4-hole LPG tanks, with separate valves fitted in a valve plate. We stock such tanks, for example: GZWM 16 l tank, GZWM 40 l tank, GZWM 70 l tank, GZWM 120 l tank.
The kit does not fit 2-hole tanks or exchange gas bottles.
Fitting the sender
- remove the valve box cover of the tank
- undo the gauge dial fixing with a 5 mm Allen key and remove the dial
- fit the Livello sender and secure it using the other pair of fixing holes
- route the sender cable to the indicator location, protected by the sleeve
Fitting the indicator
- choose a place where the indicator is easy to read, such as the dashboard or a wall of the living area
- drill an 8 mm hole for the wires
- connect the red wire to a fused 12 V supply, for example ignition live or the battery
- connect the black wire to ground
- connect the green signal wire to the sender signal wire (usually green or white), and black to black
Close the gas outlet valve before fitting. After connecting, check the reading before you fill the tank.

Questions and answers
Do I need to empty the tank to change the dial?
No. The dial and the sender read the float position through the brass body by means of a magnet, so removing the dial does not open the tank.
Is the indicator lit all the time?
No. The indicator has a switch and draws power only when it is on.
Does it fit the GZWM tanks you sell?
Yes. GZWM underslung tanks have a valve plate with four holes and a float level gauge that the sender in this kit fits.
Can I use it with an exchange bottle?
No. The kit is made for 4-hole tanks and does not fit exchange gas bottles or 2-hole tanks.
How long is the cable?
The kit includes 3 m of two-wire cable with a sleeve. If the indicator is further away, the cable can be extended by joining the wires colour to colour.
