- Foldable Primus Kinjia gas stove with two independent 3000 W burners, an integrated lid and an oak handle. It runs on a Primus threaded valve cartridge. Dimensions 47.5 x 29.5 x 7.8 cm, weight 3.7 kg.
Primus Kinjia is a two-burner gas stove that is only 7.8 cm high when closed and looks like a flat case with a wooden handle. Open the lid and you have two independently adjustable burners of 3000 W each, with room for two large pots. The body is made of die-cast aluminium and stainless steel, and the stainless steel pot supports and drip tray can be removed for washing. The stove measures 47.5 x 29.5 x 7.8 cm and weighs 3.7 kg. It runs on a Primus threaded valve gas cartridge of 100, 230 or 450 g, connected through a regulator with a hose. The manufacturer designed it for cooking for 1-10 people at the campsite, next to the motorhome, on a boat and on family trips. The gas cartridge and lighter are not included.

Two burners for cooking like at home
You light and adjust each burner with its own knob, so one can bring water to a rolling boil while a sauce or soup simmers slowly on the other. The pot supports take a pot, a frying pan or a saucepan, just like a stove at home. One burner delivers 3000 W, and boiling water in a regular pot takes about 4 minutes and 20 seconds. The regulated valve lets you set the flame precisely, so you cook efficiently and do not burn your food. When open, the lid stands upright behind the burners and shields them from gusts of wind at the back.
Gas supply
- The stove is designed for Primus cartridges with a propane, isobutane and butane mix: red Power Gas, green Summer Gas or brown Winter Gas, in 100 g, 230 g and 450 g sizes.
- The cartridge has a threaded valve. Screw it into the regulator by hand with a firm, continuous motion as far as it will go, without pliers or similar tools.
- During use the cartridge stands next to the stove, upright, with the valve and regulator at the top. A flexible hose connects it to the stove.
- Instead of a cartridge, you can connect an LPG cylinder through an adapter sold separately as an accessory. The maximum hose length is 2000 mm.
- Do not connect cartridges that are not designed for this stove, as this can be dangerous.

Folding and transport
- When you have finished cooking, turn both knobs clockwise to the stop, without excessive force.
- Once the burners and pot supports have cooled, unscrew the cartridge from the regulator and put the regulator and hose into the slot on the underside. A spring-action lock holds it in place.
- Turn the pot support over, close the lid, fold in the legs and tilt the handle back.
- The oak handle locks the closed stove, and the flat profile lets you store it in the boot, a motorhome locker or under a bed.
Setting up and lighting
- Lay the stove on its side with the handle at the top and take the regulator and hose out of the slot on the underside.
- Turn the handle to 90 degrees, pointing straight up, and lift the lid as far as it will go. With the handle in any other position the lid will not open.
- Before connecting the cartridge, close both knobs by turning them clockwise. Check the seals and the threads of the cartridge and regulator.
- Open the knob of the chosen burner about one turn anticlockwise and light the gas with a long match, a pocket lighter or a lighter wand. The stove has no built-in igniter.
- Put the pot or pan on only after the burner is lit. Light the second burner the same way.
Safety
- Use the stove only in a well-ventilated place. Keep at least 1250 mm from any roof or awning and 500 mm from any wall.
- Check connections for leaks with soapy water, never with a flame. If you see bubbles or smell gas, do not light the stove.
- Do not move the stove while it is lit, even without pots. If wind forces the flame under the burner, turn it off and move it to a sheltered spot.
- Never leave the stove unattended while it is in use and keep children and pets away from it.
- The safe operating and storage temperature is 50 degrees C at most. Always disconnect the cartridge before storage.

Cleaning and care
- Remove the pot support and lift out the drip tray. The drip tray can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.
- If the wooden parts have got wet and dried, rub in a thin layer of oil.
- Do not repair the threads or valves of the cartridge or regulator yourself. Spare pot supports and a hose with regulator are available as spare parts.
