This black clip-on screw cover, diameter Ø 13 mm, hides fastener heads in camper or caravan furniture and interior fittings. The pack holds 100 sets in a blister. Each set is a base ring plus a cap that snaps onto the base after you tighten the screw.

What it is for

The cover hides the screw or wood-screw head on panels, cabinet fronts, trims and other furniture parts. After fitting you see a smooth cap instead of a metal head and drive recess.

Diameter Ø 13 mm is the universal size in this clip-on series. Match it to a head that fits under a 13 mm cap. For other head sizes choose the Ø 9.8 mm or Ø 16.8 mm variants linked below.

Black suits dark fronts, black trims and interiors where a white or ochre cap would stand out.

How it is built

The photos show two plastic parts. The base ring (light) has a centre hole and a rim for the cap. Fit it so the screw shank goes through the hole and the head clamps the ring to the surface.

The black cap has a slightly domed top and a side wall. After tightening the screw, press the cap onto the base rim until it clips home. To remove it, lever the cap carefully without damaging the rim.

Fitting

1. Choose a screw whose head fits under the Ø 13 mm cap.
2. Slide the base ring onto the screw shank (hole to the shank, rim facing out).
3. Drive the screw into the furniture or panel and seat the head on the ring.
4. Snap the black cap onto the base rim until fully seated.
5. Check that the cap sits flush and does not lift off the surface.

Before you buy

Measure the screw-head diameter or check whether existing covers in the furniture are Ø 13 mm. This card is the clip-on type (cap on a base). A separate plug series at Ø 13 mm is on card 48383 and closes differently. Same clip-on series colours: white (48391), brown (48392), ochre (48394).

Use

• For indoor furniture and camping interior fittings.
• Not a load-bearing part and not a locking device - the cover only hides the head.
• When removing the cap, avoid sharp tools that could damage the base rim or the furniture front.

Care

Wipe the cap with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents that can dull or stain the plastic. Dry the surface after cleaning.
