How the inset works
You place the inset in the opening of the outhouse bench or your DIY housing and mount a seat with lid on top. Urine runs through the front of the bowl into the Ø32 mm outlet and through a hose to a container, an infiltration unit or into the ground where regulations allow. Solids fall into a container below. As they stay dry, they decompose faster and smell less.

Installation and care
- cut an opening in the bench to fit the inset
- place the inset and mount the seat with lid on it
- connect a Ø32 mm hose and run it with a constant fall, without traps
- protect the urine drain from freezing in frosty periods
- a Bio-Drain Cleaner tablet in the urine bowl helps keep the drain clean
- clean the inset with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth
