When to replace the end plates

• a plate is cracked or broken, e.g. after an impact or strong wind
• the screw holes are worn and the plate no longer holds on the case
• part of a plate is missing and the side of the awning case is open
• you want to replace both sides at once so they match in colour

Replacement and choosing the part

• left and right are defined looking at the awning from the front
• before working on the case, roll the awning in and secure it, and handle the spring arms with care, as they are under spring tension
• check the awning model on the type plate and compare the old plates with the photo
• order the case end caps and the crank gear separately if they are damaged too
• if you are not experienced, have an awning service fit the plates
