ToiBag granules for bag toilets - gel that binds urine and odours, for sealing toilets in motorhomes, vans and boats
- ToiBag granules for bag toilets. Based on sodium polyacrylate, they turn urine and other liquids into a thick gel, reduce odours and stop the bag from leaking. For motorhomes, vans and boats.
You add ToiBag granules to the bag in a bag toilet or a sealing toilet. When they meet urine and other liquids, the granules swell and form a thick gel that does not spill out of the bag. Less free liquid in the bag also means less odour and an easier job when you throw the closed bag away. The main ingredient is sodium polyacrylate, the same type of superabsorbent used in nappies and hygiene products.

How it works
- Binds urine and other liquids into a thick, stable gel
- Reduces unpleasant odours
- Stops the contents from leaking out of the bag
- Works physically by swelling, without harsh chemicals
- Makes closing and disposing of the bag cleaner
How to use
- Pour one portion of granules into the empty bag in the toilet
- Use the toilet
- Close or seal the bag
- Put the bag into a suitable waste bin
- The exact portion is given in the instructions on the pack
Where it helps
- Motorhomes and campervans without a cassette
- Boats without a shore connection
- Camping and places without toilets
- Bag and sealing toilets, ToiBag included
Why granules and not just the bag
A bag holds its contents only as long as it stays intact. Liquid moves around while you drive, and it can leak if the bag gets damaged. The granules turn the liquid into a gel that stays in place even on bumpy roads. Compared with a chemical toilet, you need no cassette fluids and no place to empty a cassette. Sodium polyacrylate binds many times its own weight, so one portion per use is enough in a typical situation.
Storage and safety
- Store in a dry, cool place
- Close the pack tightly after opening, as moisture weakens the effect
- Keep out of the reach of children, do not swallow
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin
- After eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and see a doctor
- Dispose of the closed bag according to local waste rules

Which toilets are the granules for?

Put the closed bag into a suitable waste bin, following local rules. The gel does not spill out of the bag.
How should I store the granules?

Can I use the granules on a boat or in a van?
Yes, they work wherever you use a bag toilet without a fixed sanitary installation.
