Toilet Ventilation Floor Version
The SOG II compact unit offers a variety of options for ventilating your toilet. The unit consists of a replaceable filter cartridge into which the ventilator is inserted. It can be placed variably up to three metres from the toilet and vented anywhere via the floor (e.g. in the garage, under the bench seat, in the false floor or in the storage compartment). In caravans where the toilet service door opens directly into the awning, it is recommended to install the SOG floor version. The specially developed filter unit works so efficiently that the bad smell of the extracted air is completely neutralised. SOG II thus offers a ventilation version that, in addition to simple retrofitting, also allows a variety of installation options.
SOG makes it possible to use the toilet odour-free even without sanitary additives.
How does it work?
A specially developed, small high-performance fan, which switches on automatically when the toilet slide is opened, creates a vacuum in the faeces tank:
- This creates a "suction" at the slider opening, which draws in fresh air and also the odours generated during use and directs them outside. Drawing in the air acts like a seal and prevents all unpleasant foul gases from rising out of the tank. This means that more air (oxygen) is drawn into the cassette each time it is used. Water is added each time by flushing.
- Even after automatic switch-off (closing of the slider), the system is permanently aerated thanks to a pipe or hose connection that is always open to the outside. This oxygen supply promotes the decomposition process.
Important: Replacement and activated charcoal filters should be changed annually.
