Guide

TROBOLO WandaGO is a compact separating toilet for campervans, vans, cars and camping. It works without water, chemicals or electricity: urine goes into a separate 4.6 l container and solids into a 6.5 l container lined with a bag. Closed, it measures 31.4 × 38.2 × 34.1 cm and weighs 4.2 kg, and thanks to its stacking function the seat can be raised to a standard height of 43.6 cm.
Toilet odour mainly develops when urine and faeces mix. WandaGO has a built-in urine diverter: the front section directs urine into the liquids container (4.6 l), while solids and toilet paper drop through the rear section into a 6.5 l container lined with a bag. After each bowel movement, cover the contents with about 250 ml of litter (e.g. wood shavings) to absorb moisture and odour.
The urine container is protected by the TROBOLO SafeShell® System. It is built into the container lid and connected to the urine diverter, so urine doesn't spill while you're driving and odours stay inside. According to the manufacturer, you can therefore use the full capacity of the urine container, however long that takes.
In its transport position WandaGO is 31.4 cm high with a seat height of 30.6 cm, which suits children and shorter users. The stacking function raises the seat to 43.6 cm, the height of a regular toilet.
The manufacturer states that in the VW California, Mercedes Marco Polo and Ford Nugget, WandaGO fits into the compartment designed for a toilet. For other vehicles, compare your storage space with the toilet's dimensions before buying: 31.4 × 38.2 × 34.1 cm (H × D × W).
To be straightforward: with a 4.6 l urine container, WandaGO works best on shorter trips or alongside campsite facilities. If two people use only this toilet, expect to empty the urine container roughly once a day (see FAQ).
The toilet arrives ready to use. Take it out of the box, put a bag into the solids container and place it on a completely level surface. In a vehicle, secure it with the fastening system.
Always sit down to use the toilet, men included. When urinating while standing, urine can't be separated properly. Toilet paper goes into the rear section as usual, and after a bowel movement you cover everything with about 250 ml of litter.
Clip the urine diverter into the holder in the toilet lid, then lift out both containers and empty them separately.
The manufacturer recommends emptying the solids container every 5–10 days. Replace compostable corn-starch bags weekly, as they lose strength over time.
The polypropylene housing can be cleaned thoroughly, right into every corner. The manual also shows cleaning parts of the urine container with a citric acid solution and maintaining the seal with silicone oil. The SafeShell® membrane with valve and the sealing ring can be replaced without tools; a spare-parts set is available separately.
Litter is not included; add it separately (see below).
For WandaGO, choose 6.5 l bags. The 11 l and 22 l bags are for larger TROBOLO models.

How many days does WandaGO last for one or two people? The manufacturer specifies 10–20 uses for the urine container (4.6 l) and 8–12 uses for the solids container (6.5 l). Assuming one person urinates about 5–7 times a day and uses only WandaGO, a rough estimate is:
Where can I empty urine and dispose of solids? The easiest place for urine is a regular toilet or sewer, e.g. campsite toilets, petrol stations or at home. The manufacturer also allows diluting urine with water and using it on ornamental plants. Only do this on your own land or with the owner's permission, away from water bodies and wells. Never pour urine into rivers, lakes or ditches, in forests or car parks. Polluting water and public places is prohibited in Poland and in most other countries. Put solids, together with the tied bag, into general (mixed) household waste, like nappies. At a campsite, ask the staff where to leave them; at home, check your local waste rules. If you want to compost, use compostable bags and a closed composter. The manufacturer recommends composting for more than 24 months and using the finished humus only for ornamental plants.
Does WandaGO smell? Used correctly, it shouldn't. Odour mainly develops when urine and faeces mix, and the diverter prevents that. Litter absorbs moisture and odour from solids, and the SafeShell® System keeps odours inside the urine container. Three things matter: always sit down, add about 250 ml of litter after each bowel movement, and rinse the urine container after every emptying (warm water with vinegar or a biological cleaner). Our tip: empty more often in hot weather.
What litter should I use, and how much? Absorbent, compostable materials such as wood shavings or TROBOLO litter (100% pine) work best. Add about 250 ml after each bowel movement. According to the manufacturer, 10 l of litter lasts about 40 uses, so a 25 l bag covers roughly 100 uses. Your own wood shavings work too, as long as they're neither too fine nor too coarse; use TROBOLO litter as a reference.
Can I use WandaGO in winter? Yes. The manufacturer states that the TROBOLO system is designed for year-round use: there are no hoses or mechanisms that frost could damage, and the WandaGO housing is 100% weatherproof. Urine won't freeze until temperatures drop well below zero, but the manufacturer recommends emptying the containers more often in freezing conditions.
How do I secure WandaGO in a campervan or van? WandaGO has a fastening system for safe transport. The manual shows the toilet strapped by its side fastening points to rails or anchor points in the vehicle floor. The manufacturer doesn't list straps in the box, so choose ones that suit your vehicle. No permanent screw installation is needed. When in use, the toilet must stand on a completely level surface.
Do men have to sit down? Yes. The sitting position is the same as on a regular toilet; when urinating while standing, urine can't be separated properly. According to the manufacturer, a small amount of urine ending up in the solids container causes no problems.
How does WandaGO differ from WandaGO Lite and BilaBox? All three work the same way, use the SafeShell® System and have a 4.6 l urine container. WandaGO is the only one with adjustable seat height (30.6 or 43.6 cm) and weighs 4.2 kg. WandaGO Lite is lighter (3.6 kg) but has a fixed, low 29.3 cm seat. BilaBox is the lightest (2.9 kg), in Eurobox format, with a 29.1 cm seat and a 6.2 l solids container. If you want comfort and a regular toilet seat height, choose WandaGO.
