Truma exhaust duct fitting AE 5 (30050-33100) for S 5002 and S 5004 heaters - sealing plate, thrust collar, O-ring, screw

The AE 5 exhaust duct fitting is an original Truma spare part (part no. 30050-33100) for the Trumatic S 5002 and Truma S 5004 gas heaters. It connects the AE 5 exhaust duct to the exhaust sleeve of the heater and seals the joint. Truma approves its heaters only with original exhaust system parts.

What it does

• fixes the AE 5 exhaust duct to the exhaust sleeve of the S 5002 or S 5004
• the sealing plate with its claw hooks onto the sleeve and presses the O-ring
• spare part when replacing the exhaust duct or a damaged fitting
• dimensions 17.5 x 9.3 x 3.1 cm, weight 109 g

Installation according to Truma

• push the sealing plate about 3 cm over the end of the exhaust duct, with the claw toward the heater sleeve
• push the thrust collar over the duct
• carefully stretch the O-ring over the cut end of the duct
• push the exhaust duct into the sleeve up to the stop
• push the O-ring, thrust collar and sealing plate up to the sleeve
• fix the sealing plate by turning and tighten it with the screw

Important

• installation and repairs must only be carried out by an expert
• a new O-ring must be fitted after each dismantling
• if the sealing plate cannot be fitted to the sleeve, Truma specifies a different exhaust duct fitting (part no. 30050-03200)
• cut the exhaust duct at a right angle
