LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries with integrated BMS are primarily characterised by their very low weight and high number of cycles (approx. 2,000 cycles at 100% DoD and maintaining an average of 80% of their nominal capacity). Thanks to its high cyclic rate and very low self-discharge, the LiFePO4 battery is ideal for both emergency power systems and OFF-GRID installations. Its low weight allows it to be used in vehicle installations (campers, foodtrucks) and boats. The built-in BMS ensures that the battery is stored without loss of nominal capacity for long periods and controls the charging and discharging processes.
