Moisture in a camper, caravan, tent or boat quickly leaves black spots of mould and mildew on fabrics, joints and wood. The Yachticon remover is a disinfecting liquid cleaner that dissolves mould deposits and mildew stains by itself, without scrubbing. It also removes algae and neutralises the musty smell, leaving the surface clean and hygienic. The liquid comes in a handy 500 ml spray bottle.

Where to use it
The manufacturer recommends it for awnings, tents, tarpaulins and covers, sprayhoods, sails, teak and other wooden decks, parasols, stone slabs, silicone joints, various fabrics and smooth surfaces. In a camper or caravan it works on bathroom joints, the awning, the porch tent and covers.
How to use
- first test colourfastness and material compatibility in an inconspicuous spot
- spray evenly onto the affected surface from about 20-30 cm
- dose: about 3 pump strokes (about 3 g) per about 15 cm2
- leave it to act briefly
- rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, repeat if needed
- once dry, impregnate the fabric to reduce new staining
Safety
Never use it together with other cleaners, especially acidic ones, because toxic chlorine gas can form. The liquid contains sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide: it causes severe skin burns and eye damage, may be corrosive to metals and is very toxic to aquatic life. Wear gloves and eye protection, do not breathe the spray mist, keep run-off away from water and store the product in its original packaging, out of reach of children. Use biocides safely and always read the label and product information before use.

Do I need to scrub?
No. The remover dissolves mould and mildew stains by itself, just let it act briefly and rinse with water.
Can I use it on a coloured awning?
Yes, but test colourfastness in an inconspicuous spot first, as it contains sodium hypochlorite.
Can I mix it with other cleaners?
No. In contact with acids it releases toxic chlorine gas, so always use it on its own.
What should I do after cleaning fabric?
Rinse it with water, let it dry and impregnate it, for example with the Yachticon impregnation spray.
