Which locks it fits
The cylinders fit Zadi locks with a housing for the standard Zadi cylinder. The manufacturer uses such locks in motorhome and caravan doors, in boot and locker hatches and in smaller locks for service doors. There are also cylinders of other series, such as Zadi A.S. 45 and HSC, which use different keys and are not interchangeable with the standard version. The easiest check is to compare a removed cylinder or your key with the dimensions given on this page.
How to replace the cylinders
- Get the Zadi cylinder removal key first, as the old cylinder cannot be taken out without it.
- Use the removal key to take the old cylinder out of the lock housing.
- Slide the new cylinder into its place.
- Test the lock with the new key before you close the door or hatch.
- Repeat for the other locks. Keep any spare cylinders for later.
