Truma FrostControl is a current-free safety and drain valve with a frost guard function. When the temperature at the valve drops below approx. 3°C, it opens by itself and drains the boiler water outside. At overpressure, for example when the boiler heats up, it releases pressure in bursts. It is an accessory for Truma boilers and fixed water tanks and a spare part for the Truma Combi. Version: angled 10 mm hose connections.

Before you order
The FrostControl is installed in the cold water supply, in a heated space, away from other heat sources. Water drains through the drain socket directly outside, at a splash-protected point. The socket must always be kept clear and the valve should be operated at least twice a year to remove limescale. On a Truma boiler the FrostControl replaces the manual safety and drain valve. Materials in contact with water are drinking water safe. Truma gives no warranty for frost damage. Before ordering, compare the Truma part number with the part in your appliance.

Questions and answers
When does the FrostControl open?
Automatically when the temperature at the valve falls below approx. 3°C and at overpressure up to 4.5 bar. It can also be opened manually.
Why can I not close the valve?
The valve can only be closed above approx. 7°C. Truma recommends switching on the vehicle heater.
Which pump is it suitable for?
For all pressure and submersible pumps up to 2.8 bar.
Does it fit the Truma Therme?
No, Truma states that the FrostControl is not an accessory for the Therme.
