- Original Thule mounting kit for the electric Slide-Out Step G2 12V, Ducato version 400, 550 and 700. It fits the Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper and Peugeot Boxer from 07/2006, including vehicles with Euro 6d-Temp engines.
The Thule mounting kit is used to fit the electric Thule Slide-Out Step G2 12V under the sliding door of a camper van or van based on the Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper and Peugeot Boxer from 07/2006. It also fits newer vehicles with Euro 6d-Temp engines. The step is sold separately in widths 400, 550 or 700, and this kit connects it to the body exactly as the manufacturer intended.

The step is not included. The kit is intended only for the 12V electric version.
Which vehicles
The kit is matched to Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper and Peugeot Boxer bodies built from July 2006 (X250 and X290 generations). It also covers vehicles with Euro 6d-Temp engines, for which Thule made steps with a modified depth.
The manufacturer instructions describe installation on L2, L3 and L4 versions. On the L2 the step is fixed at different points than on the longer bodies, so check the drawing for your vehicle length before drilling.
Which steps
The kit works with the Thule Slide-Out Step G2 12V electric steps in the Ducato version. The manufacturer offers them in three widths:

- Thule Slide-Out Step G2 12V Ducato 550 - step width 552 mm
- Thule Slide-Out Step G2 12V Ducato 700 - step width 707 mm
Installation
The step is fitted under the sliding door sill. The instructions supplied with the kit show step by step where the brackets go and the minimum mounting distances for each step width.
For installation you need a drill with 4 and 6 mm bits, a 48 mm hole saw, 10 and 13 spanners and TX10, TX20 and TX25 bits. The step motor is connected to the 12V system through a 20 A fuse.
The step has a switch for connecting a warning lamp on the dashboard, so you can see at once that the step is extended. An optional Thule relay lets the step retract automatically when you turn the ignition key.
If you have no experience with vehicle electrics, have the kit fitted by a workshop that converts camper vans.
