The Berker Integro Flow spacer ring is a flat 10 mm frame that you fit under an Integro insert when the wall or furniture panel has no room for a deep installation. With it you can surface mount a switch or push-button without cutting an opening for a box, and with sockets you reduce the required installation depth by 10 mm. The spacer measures 59.5 x 59.5 mm and has a glossy anthracite finish similar to RAL 7021, so it matches Integro devices and frames in anthracite. It is a useful part when you upgrade the electrics in a motorhome, caravan or camper van.

You place the spacer between the wall and the insert and cover the assembly with an Integro frame. The frame is not included.

The Berker Integro system in motorhomes and caravans

Integro is a modular Berker switch range made for leisure vehicles and vehicle interiors. The range includes switches, 230 V sockets, USB sockets and 1-gang, 2-gang and 3-gang frames. All inserts share the same format, so the spacer works with Integro and Integro Flow devices. This makes it easy to add a new switch or socket where no device was originally planned.

What the spacer ring is useful for

In vehicles, walls and furniture fronts are often thin, with cables, pipes or the body structure behind them. The manufacturer designed the spacer for two uses: surface mounting of switches and push-buttons, and reducing the installation depth of sockets by 10 mm. In practice the insert sits 10 mm in front of the wall surface, leaving more room for cables behind it. The spacer is also handy when you want to add a device in a new place without cutting deep into the panel.

Frame and installation

The spacer is made for one Integro module. You mount it horizontally or vertically, depending on the layout of the other devices. You feed the supply cable through the cable entry of the spacer, then screw on the insert and fit an Integro frame. The spacer has no cover of its own, so you always need a frame that covers the edges of the insert. In the standard version the assembly has protection class IP20 and is intended for dry areas inside the vehicle.

Installation step by step

• Switch off the power to the circuit where you are installing the device.
• Hold the spacer against the wall in the chosen orientation, horizontal or vertical.
• Feed the cable through the cable entry of the spacer.
• Connect the wires to the Integro insert according to its instructions.
• Screw the insert through the spacer to the surface and fit an Integro frame.
• Switch the power back on and test the device.
