The Thule 302097 is a genuine 12 V DC motor kit for the Thule Omnistor 6300 roof awning in anodised (silver grey). It is retrofitted to an existing hand crank awning in place of the gearbox. The awning opens and closes with one touch, and can be operated with a hand crank in case of power failure.

Electrical installation
- the control box is screwed inside the vehicle
- motor - control box - battery cables: 2.5 mm²; up to 4 mm² for longer runs, so that at least 9 V remain at the 20 A peak
- 20 A fuse in the positive line
- Thule recommends connecting to the leisure battery, not the starter battery
- monostable switch (ON)-OFF-(ON), connected to the control box with 1.5 mm² wires
- connect the control box to the ignition so that the awning cannot be operated with the ignition on
- installation must be carried out by a qualified person; incorrect connection voids the warranty
