Underslung LPG Tank 25 l, Ø 200 mm, GZWM, with Valves and Valve Box - Vapour Take-off for Motorhomes and Caravans
- Cylindrical 25 l LPG tank, 200 mm in diameter, for mounting under the floor of a motorhome, caravan or food truck. Comes with valves, valve box and U-brackets, has R67 approval and supplies heating, cooker and fridge.
This tank replaces the gas bottles carried in the locker. It is mounted permanently under the floor of a motorhome, caravan, food truck or van conversion, and its vapour supplies heating, cooker, fridge or barbecue. It holds 25 l and is 200 mm in diameter, so it fits between the chassis members. It is filled to 80%, which is 20 l of gas, roughly what an 11 kg bottle holds. The tank is made by the Polish manufacturer GZWM, is approved under UN ECE Regulation No. 67 and comes with valves fitted, a valve box and two U-brackets.

Valves and fittings
- Fill valve with 80% stop: a float closes the inlet and leaves room for the gas to expand. 3/8" NPT female thread, with the supplied elbow 3/4" UNF (JIC).
- Manual 1/4" NPT outlet valve with W21.8 LH adapter draws gas from above the liquid, so appliances receive vapour.
- The pressure relief valve opens above 27 bar and protects the tank from overheating.
- Float level gauge with dial and 0-95 Ohm sender output for a remote gauge in the cab or panel.
Valve box and mounting
The valves sit in a four-hole valve plate. The box protects them from water, mud, salt and stones. The tank is fixed to the chassis on two U-brackets, supplied with bolts and washers. The manufacturer also offers a version of this type with four mounting lugs.
Filling the tank
The tank is filled at autogas stations through an external filling point, connected to the fill valve with an LPG hose. Filling point, hose and adapters are not included. The 80% stop ends filling automatically.
Installation step by step
- Choose a place under the floor away from the exhaust and moving suspension parts, with access to the valve box.
- Bolt the U-brackets to the chassis, lay the tank in them horizontally with the valves at 105 degrees according to the mounting mark and tighten.
- Connect the hose to the external filling point and a regulator or system hose to the outlet valve.
- Fit the box and have a gas technician leak-test and approve the installation.
