Berker Integro Flow Schuko Socket 16 A 250 V with Screw Terminals, Anthracite Matt - 55.5 x 55.5 mm Insert for Motorhomes and Caravans
- Berker Integro Flow Schuko socket 16 A, 250 V AC, with screw terminals, anthracite matt, 55.5 x 55.5 mm. A compact insert for 230 V installations in motorhomes and caravans. The frame is sold separately.
The Berker Integro Flow Schuko socket is a compact 230 V insert from the Integro range, which was designed for leisure vehicles. It measures 55.5 x 55.5 mm, is rated at 16 A and has screw terminals that hold the installation wires securely. The matt anthracite finish matches the other Integro devices in the same colour, so the socket blends in with switches, USB sockets and frames in your motorhome, caravan or camper van. It takes a standard Schuko plug or the flat Euro plug used by many small appliances.

- wire connection with screw terminals

The insert has a central plate, and its edges are covered by an Integro frame that you choose separately: a standard one or one with a hinged cover.
The Berker Integro system in motorhomes and caravans
Integro is a modular Berker switch range made for leisure vehicles. All inserts share the same size of 55.5 x 55.5 mm, and the range includes 230 V sockets, USB sockets, switches and frames in several colours. Frames come in 1-gang, 2-gang and 3-gang versions, so you can combine the Schuko socket with a USB socket or a switch in one panel. The small mounting depth makes installation easier in thin walls and furniture panels, where a standard household socket often does not fit.
What the socket is useful for
You can power the 16 A Schuko socket from the 230 V campsite hook-up or from an inverter, if your installation has one. Plug in a laptop charger, a kettle, a hair dryer, a coffee machine or an electric heater, keeping in mind the power allowed by the campsite fuse and your own installation. An extra socket at the table, next to the bed or in the rear garage means fewer extension cables and easier use of your appliances during your stay.
Frame and mounting
The socket is an insert with a central plate, so you need a frame from the Integro range to complete it. A 1-gang frame covers the edges of the insert, and a frame with hinged cover also hides the socket opening when you do not use it. You install the insert flush in a box with a depth of at least 32 mm and fix it with 4 screws. A protective box that shields the live parts from behind is required for installation. If there is no room for a box in the wall, you can mount the socket on the surface with the Integro spacer.
IP20 protection and damp areas
The socket itself has protection class IP20, so it is meant for dry areas inside the vehicle. You get the splash-proof IP44 version only together with a Berker seal, a hinged frame marked IP44 and a protective box. Do not fit the IP20 socket outside the vehicle, in a shower cubicle or anywhere exposed to splashing water. The socket has no increased touch protection, which means it has no shutters over the contact openings.
Installation step by step
- Switch off the 230 V supply: unplug the hook-up cable and switch off the inverter if it feeds the sockets.
- Prepare a box at least 32 mm deep with a protective box, or a spacer for surface mounting.
- Connect the live, neutral and earth wires to the matching screw terminals and tighten them.
- Place the insert in the box and fix it with 4 screws.
- Fit an Integro frame, a standard one or one with hinged cover.
- Switch the power back on and test the socket. Work on 230 V installations should be done by a qualified electrician.
Good to know
- the socket is made for 230 V installations, not for 12 V
- an Integro multiple frame takes several inserts, for example a Schuko socket and a USB socket
- matt anthracite is also available for frames, switches and USB sockets of the Integro range
- the package contains the socket insert only, without frame or box

Frequently asked questions
Is a frame included?
No. This is the socket insert with central plate only. You choose the Integro frame separately, for example a 1-gang frame in anthracite or one with a hinged cover.
Can I connect the socket to a 12 V system?
No. This is a 230 V socket. You power it from the campsite hook-up or from an inverter. For 12 V choose USB sockets or 12 V sockets from the Integro range.
What depth do I need for installation?
The mounting depth is 32 mm. You install the insert in a box with a protective box, or on the surface with the Integro spacer.
Can I use the socket outside the vehicle?
The socket itself is IP20. You get IP44 only with a Berker seal, a hinged frame marked IP44 and a protective box.
How are the wires connected?
You fix the live, neutral and earth wires in the screw terminals. The connection to a 230 V installation should be made by a qualified electrician.
