Camper furniture line for VW T5 / T6 / T6.1 short wheelbase - tall cabinet and kitchen block, HPL kit for self-assembly, white / basalt

This furniture line turns a VW Transporter T5, T6 or T6.1 short wheelbase into a camper without custom joinery. It consists of two modules fitted on the left side of the load area: a tall cabinet at the rear and a kitchen block next to the sliding door. The HPL-coated panels are CNC-cut, so holes, grooves and milled contours fit without trimming on site. The carcass is white, while the doors, flaps and worktop are basalt (dark grey). The furniture arrives in two flat boxes in Euro pallet format together with the mounting kit and illustrated instructions, and you can assemble it in your garage with an ordinary cordless screwdriver. The back panels are integrated, so no extra interior trim is needed behind the furniture.

Which vehicles it fits

• VW Transporter T5, T6 and T6.1 panel van and Kombi, short wheelbase (vehicle length 4900 mm), built from 08.2003 to 07.2024.
• Versions with one or two sliding doors. With two sliding doors you cut parts along the milled contours with a jigsaw to clear the left C-pillar and the door.
• VW rubber floor, floor anchors or floor plate.
• Original roof, high roof or pop-up roof.

Tall cabinet

• The cabinet sits at the rear, behind the kitchen block. The back is made of three panels and the bottom one has a wheel arch cut-out.
• You set the vertical partition so that the large compartment is at the front or at the rear, for example for a gas locker.
• Two shelves are height-adjustable on shelf supports in the rows of holes.
• The flaps have catches, and the lower flap can be hinged, latched to the side or fitted as a removable plug-in flap.

Kitchen block

• worktop without cut-outs for the hob, sink or hob and sink combination of your choice
• 2 polyester fleece drawers that you can shorten in height when a hob or sink is fitted

Room for hob, sink and fridge

• You build the gas hob, ceramic or induction hob, sink or hob and sink combination of your choice into the worktop. Hob and sink combinations up to 76.5 cm wide fit, among others.
• The fridge bay is prepared for compressor fridges 38 cm wide and 53 cm high, for example Carbest LR40L or Vitrifrigo C39i and C42L.
• The fridge compressor unit is moved to the side into the next compartment. Bend its pipe carefully, as it breaks easily.
• The fridge should protrude from the carcass by the door thickness so that the door opens more than 90 degrees.

Gas locker (option)

• The rear compartment of the tall cabinet can be converted into a gas locker for 2 x 5 kg cylinders. This needs a separate gas locker kit, not included with this furniture line.
• The locker must be sealed and have a sufficiently large vent to the outside. Gas cylinders are not included.
• Gas and electrical installations and gas or electrical appliances may only be connected by qualified specialists. A built-in gas system needs regular inspections.

Quick in, quick out

• In vehicles with two sliding doors the kitchen module locks into the entry step.
• For driving you secure it with a tension strap to the factory tie-down points, which stay accessible.
• With the kitchen block removed you can use 3 belted seats in the second row.

Assembly step by step

• Parts are joined with press-in connectors and screws from the mounting kit. Hinges are fitted using the drilling template, and a 2 mm drill bit is included.
• You will need a cordless screwdriver with a Phillips bit, a plastic mallet, a 7 mm spanner or pliers and sandpaper.
• For the two sliding door version or the gas locker you also need a jigsaw.

Fixing in the vehicle

• Agree the fixing method with your vehicle inspection authority.
• Screwing the furniture to the body and floor plate with solid metal brackets is recommended.
• Alternatively, you can carry the furniture as cargo strapped to the factory tie-down points.
