Froli Star Mobil is a spring system fitted under the mattress in a motorhome, campervan or caravan. The individual spring elements clip together into a point-elastic base that adapts to the body and relieves pressure points. This set (basic package with expansion package) is intended for a single bed of approx. 90/100 x 200 cm. The elements are only approx. 4.3 cm high and the mat can also be fitted to slanted beds.
Point-elastic support

Three firmness zones
- light blue soft elements - softer, letting the shoulders sink into the mattress; the manufacturer recommends them in the 3rd and 4th row from the top
- blue standard elements - firmness for the rest of the body
- red tension crosses clip into the middle of a spring to increase firmness, e.g. under the lumbar area
- firmness also changes with the clip spacing: narrow, medium or wide; for a body weight over 90 kg the manufacturer recommends narrow spacing
Breathable mattress base
- the open design lets air circulate under the mattress
- the mattress stays dry, which helps prevent moisture, mildew and mould
- important in a motorhome, where the mattress often lies on a board or a storage box
Step-by-step assembly
- lay out the base crosses in one direction following the arrows - from head to foot
- choose narrow, medium or wide hole spacing and connect the crosses into a mat, pressing them down with the assembly tool provided - never with a hammer
- place a spring with its slot on the middle of each cross and turn it 90° until it engages on the button
- tension crosses can be clipped in as required, also later
- when using a support grid, attach the grid to the slatted frame with cable ties

- avoid direct UV radiation such as sunlight and do not leave the system rolled up for a long time
- clean with a mild care product if necessary; do not use detergents, abrasive cleaners, alcohol, thinners or acetone
- after dismantling, the individual parts can be recycled

- tension crosses are small parts and not a toy - they can be swallowed, risk of choking
- keep them out of reach of children
- use them only to adjust the firmness of the Froli bed system

Which bed does this set fit?
The manufacturer intends it for a single bed of approx. 90/100 x 200 cm. For a bed of approx. 70/80 x 200 cm the basic package alone is enough, and a double bed of approx. 140/160 x 200 cm needs 2 basic packages.
How do I adjust the firmness?
With the clip spacing (narrow, medium or wide), by placing the soft elements in the shoulder area and with the red tension crosses, which stiffen selected areas such as the lumbar region. For a body weight over 90 kg the manufacturer recommends narrow spacing.
Can I put it on a slatted frame?
Yes, with a support grid. The manufacturer recommends attaching the grid to the slatted frame with cable ties.
Can the system be extended later?
Yes. Froli offers expansion packages with standard and soft elements and tension crosses.
How do I clean the elements?
With a mild care product. Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaners, alcohol, thinners or acetone, and protect the system from direct sunlight.
