- Kit: GasBank LS DUO 11 kg cylinder (26.2 l, 80% OPD, DUO valve) with DISH filling point, 1.5 m 8 mm hose and JIC connector. The cylinder is EN 14140 and TPED certified, so you use it in a motorhome like a standard bottle.
This kit combines the GasBank LS DUO 11 kg light steel cylinder with a DISH type remote filling kit. The cylinder holds 11 kg of propane with a water capacity of 26.2 l and has a DUO valve with separate inlet and G.12 (KLF) outlet and 80% OPD. You mount the DISH filling point on the outside of the vehicle and connect it by hose to the cylinder inlet, so you refill the cylinder without taking it out of the gas locker or unscrewing the regulator.

A 300 mm diameter is the standard for 11 kg cylinders, so it fits typical gas lockers.
DUO valve - separate inlet and outlet

- G.12 (KLF) gas outlet, thread W21.8 x 1/14 left-hand, with rubber seal
- the hose from the filling point stays connected, and so does the regulator

The GasBank LS DUO cylinder in this kit is made and certified to the same standard and directive as standard steel exchange cylinders. According to its certification, you can therefore use it in a motorhome just like a standard exchange cylinder: place it in the gas locker, secure it with a strap and connect it to the regulator just like a standard cylinder.
How remote filling works
- place the DISH filling point somewhere easy to reach on the outside of the vehicle
- the 8 mm hose carries the gas from the filling point to the 3/4" UNF cylinder inlet; non-return valves stop backflow
- the DISH filling point fits Italian type LPG nozzles, used in Poland, France and Italy among others
- the filling point has an M10 x 1.5 internal thread for adapters for other countries, e.g. ACME in Germany
- it is a good idea to have the filling point fitted by an LPG installer
Filling, use and storage
- fill the cylinder with LPG only (propane, butane and their mixtures)
- thanks to the OPD, the cylinder can be filled at LPG stations via the external filling point
- rules on filling cylinders at stations differ between countries - check the rules of your destination before travelling
- the gas locker must have a vent below the level of the cylinder
- when driving, the cylinder stands upright and is secured
- after fitting and after changing the regulator, check the connections for leaks

Questions and answers
Can I use this cylinder in a motorhome?
Yes. The cylinder is certified to EN 14140 and the TPED directive, like standard steel exchange cylinders, so you use it in a motorhome the same way: in the gas locker, with the same regulator.
Do I have to take the cylinder out to refill it?
No. You connect the LPG nozzle to the DISH filling point on the outside of the vehicle and the gas flows through the hose to the cylinder inlet. The regulator stays connected.
How full does the cylinder get?
The OPD system stops filling at 80% of capacity, i.e. at approx. 21 l LPG.
Can I refill abroad?
The DISH filling point fits in Poland, France and Italy among others. In other countries you screw a suitable adapter onto the M10 thread, e.g. ACME in Germany..

The round "dish" is the DISH-type filling valve of the remote filling kit – the kit is intended for filling the cylinder from an external filling point on the vehicle. According to our product pages, the DISH filler has an internal M10 x 1.5 thread for adapters used in other countries: ACME (e.g. Germany, Belgium, Ireland), EURO (Spain, Portugal), Bayonet (e.g. UK, Netherlands). In DISH countries (e.g. Poland, France, Italy, Greece) no adapter is needed. So yes – an M10 adapter matching the filling stations in your country is what you need. The installation of the filling point and hose must be carried out by a qualified LPG installer; we do not give remote installation advice.
