How it works
- Connect PV panels (up to 4) to the PV inputs of the NOAH 2000 battery.
- The battery charges from solar energy and at the same time passes the set power (up to 800 W DC) to the microinverter.
- The NEO 800M-X microinverter converts direct current to 230 V AC and powers the devices in your home.
- In the app you set how much power to deliver at a given time – e.g. a constant base load (fridge, router, standby) around the clock.
Save with a dynamic tariff
With a dynamic tariff the electricity price changes every hour according to the day-ahead market. It is usually most expensive in the morning and evening and cheapest at sunny noon. NOAH 2000 stores solar energy during the day and lets you use it in expensive hours instead of buying grid power then. Note: NOAH 2000 is a DC-coupled storage – it charges from PV panels, not from a socket; it cannot be charged from the grid in cheap hours.

Formalities in Poland
A grid-connected microinverter is a micro-installation. Before commissioning, notify your distribution system operator (DSO) at least 30 days before the planned connection; the operator will replace the meter with a bidirectional one. In multi-family buildings the consent of the building manager / owners' association is required to mount panels on a railing or facade. The microinverter has anti-islanding protection and grid certificates, including CE, VDE-AR-N 4105 and EN 50549-1. Regulations for balcony installations are changing – check your DSO's current requirements before installation.

How much will you save and when will the kit pay for itself?
PV panels are not included in the kit – the calculation assumes operation with two panels of approx. 440–470 Wp each.
Two panels with a total output of approx. 890 Wp on a south-facing balcony produce an estimated 600–750 kWh of energy per year in Polish conditions. Thanks to the NOAH 2000 storage, almost all of this energy is used at home – also in the evening, when electricity is most expensive.
With a full energy cost of approx. PLN 1.10–1.20/kWh (including distribution charges), this gives approx. PLN 650–850 savings per year, and the kit typically pays for itself in 5–7 years. The LiFePO4 battery is rated for over 6,000 cycles and has a 10-year warranty, so it keeps working to your benefit after the investment has paid off.
The calculation is an estimate. Actual production depends on balcony orientation (east/west: approx. 20–30% less), mounting angle and shading, and savings depend on your tariff and energy prices.
