Remis REMIfront IV front blind for Fiat Ducato X250 (07/2006-04/2014), with A-pillar speakers, light grey
- Remis REMIfront IV pleated front blind for a Fiat Ducato X250 built 07/2006-04/2014 with speakers in the A-pillars, in light grey. The two halves of the blind meet in the middle of the windscreen with a magnetic catch.
Remis REMIfront IV is a cab blackout system for motorhomes built on the Fiat Ducato X250. This listing covers the front part: a split pleated blind for the windscreen, in light grey. This version is made for vehicles with speakers in the A-pillars. The kit includes A-pillar trims with a speaker grille, and the original vehicle speakers clip into them. Both halves of the blind are pulled out of the pillars to the middle of the windscreen, where they join with a magnetic catch. The blind runs on guide tubes to the middle of the windscreen, so the interior mirror does not have to be removed. When closed, the blind keeps people from looking into the cab, and the multi-layer material reduces heat build-up in the sun and cooling at night. Folded away, the blind sits in the pillar trims, and a cover profile makes it almost invisible. For the door windows you also need the REMIfront IV side blinds, listed under related products.

Vehicle fit
The blind fits the Fiat Ducato X250 built 07/2006-04/2014 with speakers in the A-pillars, and motorhomes on this base. The manufacturer states that the REMIfront IV system for the Ducato also fits vehicles of identical construction, meaning the Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper. Light grey matches a grey cab interior. In the manufacturer catalogue the grey version is assigned to the Ducato X250 from 2006-2011, while the beige version is meant for vehicles with a beige interior from 09/2011-2014.
When the system does not fit
- vehicles with airbags in the A-pillars or above the doors
- vehicles with a rain sensor or light sensor at the interior mirror
- Ducato with a storage compartment above the windscreen (under the headliner)
- vehicles with equipment packages other than those listed by the manufacturer
- Ducato X290 from 2014, which has its own blind versions
Fitting
The manufacturer recommends fitting by a workshop. The door seal at the A-pillar and the original pillar trim are removed, the speaker is unplugged and clipped into the Remis trim. The trim with the blind is then placed on the pillar, the guide tubes are screwed on, the speakers are reconnected and the trim is clipped in place. The upper cover panels are fixed to the headliner with the dowels from the kit after drilling 6 mm holes. Finally the blind is closed to find the position of the tube holder, which is screwed to the dashboard with two screws. If the tubes come in two pieces, they are joined with the adhesive from the kit and left to harden for 10-15 minutes. The manufacturer instructions show each step with photos.
Use and cleaning
- In strong sunlight the handles can get very hot.
- The system is not meant for darkening the vehicle over a long period, for example during winter storage.
- Depending on the temperature, the blind may temporarily fold back less easily.
- Wipe the frames with a damp cloth and mild soapy water, and clean the pleated fabric with a soft brush. Do not use solvents or abrasives.

What is the additional bottom panel for?
