Thule left articulated arm 1500602057 for Omnistor 8000 awning - 3.50 m length

The Thule left articulated arm (part no. 1500602057) is a genuine spare part for Thule Omnistor 8000 awnings 3.50 m long. The spring-loaded arm pushes out the front profile and keeps the fabric taut when the awning is extended. This arm fits on the left side of the awning, the right arm is a separate part, no. 1500602058.

Which awning does it fit

• Thule Omnistor 8000 - awning length 3.50 m
• item 24 on the Thule spare parts drawing
• side: left
• right arm for the same awning: part no. 1500602058
• for the Omnistor 8000 from 4.00 m Thule uses different arms (left 1500602059, right 1500602060)

How the articulated arm works

• articulated arms work in pairs - one on the left and one on the right side of the awning
• the spring in the arm pushes the front profile out and keeps the fabric taut
• when the awning is rolled in, the arm folds into the cassette
• a damaged arm or weak spring shows as slack fabric or an unevenly extending front profile
• the arm is sold individually (1 pc)

Before you order

• check the awning model on the type plate or the sticker on the cassette
• measure the awning length - arms for other lengths have different part numbers
• check on which side the damaged arm is - the left and right arms are different parts
• compare part no. 1500602057 with the number in your awning documentation

Fitting and safety

• roll the awning in fully before removal - the arm is under spring tension
• replace it with two people
• do not take the arm apart or remove the spring
• if you have no experience, have an awning service or caravan workshop do the job
• after fitting, check that the awning extends and rolls in evenly
