The Truma FrostControl heating element is a plug-in heater for the FrostControl valve on Truma Combi and Combi D heaters. When the Combi is on, it heats the valve to 14°C, so the water system can be filled at outside temperatures below +10°C and the switched-on unit is not drained by accident. According to Truma, at -10°C the valve can be closed after about 10 minutes, without the element after about 40 minutes.

Before you order
The element switches off by itself at 14°C and back on at 10°C. If the room is above 10°C when the Combi is switched on, the element does not run. The supplied retaining bracket is essential to keep the element from falling out. It cannot be used with the Truma boiler or Trumatic C, as they have no connection for it. Before ordering, compare the Truma part number with the part in your appliance.
