GasBank GB-EXT is a service hose that connects an external propane cylinder to a gas system through its M10 threaded filling point (e.g. DISH type). It lets you leak-test the system without filling the tank or cylinder at a station - during the test the gas comes from the connected cylinder.

- cylinder side: nut with female W21.8 x 1/14 LH (left-hand) thread - for cylinder valves with a male W21.8 thread
- filling point side: knurled end with male M10x1.5 thread and seal - hand-screwed into a filling point with female M10 thread

How to connect
- make sure the cylinder valve is closed
- remove the filler cap and hand-screw in the M10 end so that the seal sits evenly
- screw the W21.8 nut onto the cylinder valve - the thread is left-hand, so turn it anticlockwise
- open the cylinder valve and carry out the test according to the procedure for your system
- after the test close the cylinder valve, disconnect the hose and refit the filler cap
Safety
- the hose is intended for LPG (propane)
- a gas system leak test should be carried out by a qualified person in line with the applicable regulations
- check the seals and the hose before use
- do not use the hose if you smell gas or the connection leaks
