Truma cowl outer part ZR 80 in light grey, no. 36151-08 is the outside part of the wall cowl of Truma Combi heaters. It is fitted onto the ZR 80 cowl inner part from outside the vehicle and fixed with two screws. Exhaust gas leaves through the cowl while combustion air is drawn in at the same time. The part is sold separately - as a replacement for a damaged or faded cover, or to complete the ZR 80 wall cowl set, which does not include the outer part.

Replacing the cover step by step
- switch off the heater and let the cowl cool down
- remove the 2 screws of the old outer part and take it off
- check the seal and the inner part
- fit the new outer part so that the arrow on the cowl points up
- fix it with the 2 stainless steel screws B 3.5 x 25
Installing the wall cowl according to Truma instructions
- the cowl is installed with the arrow pointing up, on an even wall surface around which wind can flow from all sides
- drill a Ø 83 mm hole in the wall; line any cavities around the hole with wood
- the cowl is sealed with a rubber seal; on textured surfaces also use flexible body sealant - not silicone
- the inner part is fixed with 6 screws, the outer part is fitted onto it and fixed with 2 screws B 3.5 x 25
- the AA 3 exhaust duct (Ø 55 mm) must be 10% longer than the ZR 80 combustion air intake duct (Ø 80 mm)
- a ZR 80 duct of 60-100 cm may rise or fall by max. 20 cm, a duct of 100-200 cm may only rise
- ducts longer than 60 cm are fixed to the wall with at least one ZRS clamp
- keep at least 10 mm between the exhaust system and heat-sensitive parts
For the Combi exhaust system Truma only permits original parts: AA 3 exhaust duct (39320-00), ZR 80 combustion air intake duct (39580-00) and clamps - the appliance is tested and approved only with these. Installation and inspection of the gas system should be carried out by an authorised specialist.

Is the cowl inner part included?
No. This is the outer part only. The ZR 80 inner part is available separately or in the wall cowl set with ducts and clamps.
Does the colour affect performance?
No, all colours have the same design. You choose the colour to match the vehicle wall. For the next generation Combi D (E), however, Truma recommends the black or anthracite version.
Will it fit my heater?
It fits the ZR 80 wall cowl of Truma Combi (E) heaters. Before ordering, compare the part number on the old cover or in the heater manual.
Can I replace it myself?
The cover alone is replaced by undoing 2 screws. If the inner part or the ducts have to be removed, work on the gas system should be done by an authorised specialist.
