The straight Carbest push-fit adapter is an in-line transition from the 12 mm push-fit system to a hose with a 12 mm diameter. One end is a smooth 12 mm stem that you push into Carbest push-fit connectors, the other is a barbed end for the hose. This lets you join a rigid system to a flexible section of hose.

Use
Use the adapter where a system of 12 mm pipes and push-fit connectors changes to a section of flexible hose. A typical example is connecting a pump, filter or tank with hose spigots.

Installation
Push the 12 mm stem fully into the push-fit connector and secure the joint with a safety clip. Slide hose with a 12 mm inner diameter over the full length of the barbed end. Secure the hose with a clamp sized for its outer diameter.
After fitting, start the pump and check both sides for leaks under pressure.
