Water Pump strainer is fitted in the inlet line before the water pump. It catches sand, rust and sediment from the tank before they reach the pump, water heater and taps. 1/2" NPT male and female ports, removable mesh for cleaning.

Installation and service
- fit before the pump, on the inlet side
- the female port can screw straight onto a pump port with a 1/2" NPT thread
