What it is for
RW Motion is a sliding window for fitting into the wall of a campervan, motorhome or caravan. When open, it lets fresh air in; when closed, the double glazing provides high insulation.
Compatibility
The window needs a 700 x 450 mm wall cut-out (W x H) and is designed for 30 mm wall thickness. The corner radius is 87 mm. If the wall is thinner than 30 mm, the cut-out must be reinforced with a suitable mounting frame.
The matching interior blind with pleated blackout and fly screen is the Carbest RW Motion 700x450 mm (art. no. 316611). The blind is available in our shop.

Installation and use
Installation is best done by two people. If you lack experience, have it fitted by a workshop. Before cutting, make sure there are no load-bearing parts, cables or furniture at that spot.
- Check that the wall cut-out measures 700 x 450 mm.
- Clean the inside of the outer frame and the area around the cut-out. They must be clean, dust-free and grease-free.
- Apply a thick, even bead of sealant to the inside of the outer frame, e.g. DEKAseal 8936 or SikaLastomer 710.
- Centre the outer frame in the cut-out and press it gently against the wall. A second person screws the mounting frame on from the inside with the supplied screws. Do not overtighten them.
- Cover the screws with the black rubber cover.
- Peel the protective film off the frame and remove the plugs from the drain holes at the bottom of the frame.
Keep the window closed in rain, snow and strong wind. Before every trip, check that the window is closed and undamaged. Clean the glass with water or soapy water and a soft, lint-free cloth; do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
