Dometic PerfectView CAM360 AHDHD 360° camera system - 4 cameras + host, IP69K, 12/24 V, for motorhome and caravan
- Dometic PerfectView CAM360 AHDHD is a 360° system with 4 cameras and a host (no cables). 2D/3D view, AHD/CVBS, IP69K, 12/24 V, for motorhome and caravan.
Dometic PerfectView CAM360 AHDHD is a 360° surround-view camera system (catalogue number 9620013227, model CAM360AHDN). Per the Dometic product page the set includes 4 cameras and a host computer - without system cables (cables are chosen separately, e.g. the CAM360 CS-HD kit). The system stitches images from four wide-angle cameras of about 190° into a 2D/3D view around the vehicle (AVMS). Video output AHD or CVBS, supply 12/24 V DC, cameras rated IP69K.

- AHD or CVBS output to a PerfectView or external monitor
- recording to SD cards (max. 2 x 512 GB per the manual)
- 12/24 V DC supply (host working range 10-32 V)

What it is for
CAM360 AHDHD shows the vehicle position relative to its surroundings while manoeuvring, parking and driving in tight spaces. Four cameras (front, rear, left, right) build a top-down view (2D) or a 3D view with object visualisation.
This is not a single reversing camera but a full AVMS. The image goes to an AHD monitor or via the CVBS output. Recordings can be played on a Dometic monitor, an external monitor or from the SD cards on a computer.
The system is intended for vehicles. In practice it is fitted on a motorhome, van or larger caravan when you need a permanent view around the body. System cables are bought separately to match the cable runs in the vehicle.
Installation notes
- Plan camera positions at the front, rear and sides so the fields of view overlap and leave no blind spots.
- Mount the host (controller) in a dry place with access to the SD card slots. Connect power as described in the manual: permanent positive, ACC and ground plus indicator and reverse-light triggers.
- Choose camera cables and extensions separately (e.g. the CAM360 CS-HD kit). Route them away from sharp edges and hot parts; seal body penetrations.
- After fitting, calibrate the system with the calibration mats as described in the manual - without calibration the 360° view will not be correct.
- For voltage tests use a diode test lamp or a voltmeter.
What is in the box
- CAM360 AHDHD host (controller).
- 4 wide-angle cameras.
- Per the Dometic product page: no system cables - cables sold separately.
CAM360 versus other PerfectView products
CAM360 AHDHD is a surround system with four cameras and a host. You also need a cable kit (CAM360 CS-HD) and an AHD monitor such as M 75L AHD. If a single twin rear camera is enough, choose CAM44 / CAM44W or the newer CAM 440 - those are different solutions, not drop-in replacements for a 360° system.
Safe use
- A video system is only an aid. It does not replace care, mirror checks or awareness of blind spots outside the camera coverage.
- After calibration, make sure every zone around the vehicle is visible - unseen angles are a risk.
- Operating temperature per the manual: -20 to +70°C (cameras and host).
- Cameras are IP69K; mount the host where it is protected from water as the manual describes.
- Match cable lengths to the vehicle and do not interconnect them contrary to the manual.
Care
Wipe the lenses with a soft, damp cloth and no aggressive solvents. After washing the vehicle, check that the lenses are clean and that drains around the camera housings stay clear.

FAQ
Are cables in the box?
No. Per the Dometic page the set is 4 cameras and a host - without system cables. You choose cables separately, e.g. the CAM360 CS-HD kit.
What are 2D and 3D views?
2D is a top-down stitch of the camera images. 3D adds a spatial visualisation of the vehicle and objects around it.
What supply is required?
The system runs on 12/24 V DC. The manual states a host range of 10-32 V and current < 2 A at 12 V.
Which monitor does it fit?
An AHD PerfectView monitor or an external monitor via AHD/CVBS. Example from the range: M 75L AHD.
Does the system record?
Yes. The manual provides for recording to max. two SD cards of up to 512 GB each (H.264 codec).
Is it a replacement for a single reversing camera?
No. It is a surround system with four cameras and calibration. For the rear only, CAM44 or CAM 440 is enough.
