Fitting
- always use a reinforcing sleeve with copper or aluminium pipe; a steel sleeve for aluminium
- cut the pipe square and remove burrs
- slide on the nut and ring, push the pipe fully into the body

- check the joint for leaks with leak detector spray or a leak tester
